The Official Occupy Wall Street Music and Inspiration Thread: 10/5/11

A thread of music, speeches, movie clips, paintings, anything for the OWS crowd. Please post and share.

Yesterday, Butterfly77 posted a song I want to start with this morning. Mr. Marvin Gaye and What's Going On?

I hope to include some paintings soon, but many that I know refer to violent responses to revolution and I am looking for something that captures the spirit, but doesn't try to compare our movement to the tragedy of Guernica, for instance.

Thanks for participating, everyone! Move the Movement!

5. I've always been partial to "Mars: the Bringer of War" from Gustav Holst's "The Planets"
Mars

It always reminded me of a "let's get this thing done"-type of music.

7. Little Piggies
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXdKlpBOvs0

Have you seen the little piggies
Crawling in the dirt
And for all the little piggies
Life is getting worse
Always having dirt to play around in.

Have you seen the bigger piggies
In their starched white shirts
You will find the bigger piggies
Stirring up the dirt
Always have clean shirts to play around in.

In their sties with all their backing
They don't care what goes on around
In their eyes there's something lacking
What they need's a damn good whacking.

Everywhere there's lots of piggies
Living piggy lives
You can see them out for dinner
With their piggy wives
Clutching forks and knives to eat their bacon.

Look what's happening out in the streets
Got a revolution got to revolution
Hey I'm dancing down the streets
Got a revolution got to revolution
Ain't it amazing all the people I meet
Got a revolution got to revolution
One generation got old
One generation got soul
This generation got no destination to hold
Pick up the cry
Hey now it's time for you and me
Got a revolution got to revolution
Come on now we're marching to the sea
got a revolution got to revolution
Who will take it from you
We will and who are we
We are volunteers of america
