We need to proceed to step two.

We need a new Declaration of Independence plus some specific demands.

I suggest the first demand is that we get our representative government back. No taxation without representation. We need to get corporate money out of the political process. If we cant do that, all else is hopeless.

This will require a Constitutional Amendment to keep corporations out of government. We need some strong election reform laws.

Have to start somewhere.

3. I don't want this turned over to the powers that be so that it can be buried in red tape

I'd like to see actual real change, not political BS.

End the so-called 'war' on drugs and terror completely, and roll back every piece of legislation passed under the guise of supporting them.

Hold the financial industry to account for the meltdown.

Indict the so-called too-big-to-fail crowd with fraud and racketeering, and make it stick.

De-militarize the police force.

I would say that would be a good start. This isn't about politics or framing or spin. I want actual real change this time.

we're talking about a paradigm shift, not a PAC.

7. we are not there yet...
Patience ...young jedi.

We have yet to turn the tide of things , the movement is still growing in consciousness and paradigm.
it is not about changing the system, it is about a NEW one...this takes time. The visionaries are seeing the change, the people are showing up and BEing the change, and that is how we reach critical mass. But we may not know what that looks like for quite some time.
and we are not there yet.

stop trying to make the egg hatch before it's time...you cannot push the river....

12. The first step has to be election reform. Otherwise we will have the same system in place forever.
Corporate oligarchy. We must demand changes to election laws.
