3. 15,000 in NYC? Not so much.
But I don't think the numbers will get smaller. Now that the students and unions are involved, I think the numbers are going to grow.

We have an intractable, unresponsive Congress and our options have been narrowed by their bad choices.

9. 15,000 isn't much in NYC.
But I saw the pictures and it's an underestimate.

10. Yeah. Once I saw the pictures I knew they low-balled it.
Also, the marches and occupations are still quite local. For the large marches in NYC, we usually had national input, buses arriving from everywhere.

6. I see your point
But what percentage of the population ever takes to the street? How many at home watching children, toiling at work, or hell, in jail for minor possession or something (while real crimes against society remain unpunished), are there in spirit?

You're right, I think the numbers will grow.

7. I remember when 100,000 marched against the Iraq War there
In Boston, we had 50,000. Equal numbers in cities all over the country. No one paid any attention to it, and the bombs dropped.

2. And a guillotine would be a bad thing?
I can think of an easy way to forestall it. Tax the fucking rich.
