Sarah Palin Announcement: The unauthorized version

After much prayer and serious consideration, I have decided not to seek the 2012 GOP nomination for President. As always, my family comes first. Todd would like me to spend more time with Bristol, Willow, Trigg, Twig, Fig, and little ... what's his name again? ... well, you know. That cute little bundle of joy that I cart around like a canned ham any time there are cameras nearby.

Rest assured, I have no intention of fading into the background. Todd has plenty of massage therapy appointments to keep him busy, so I'll be available for high-level strategic planning sessions to strategize strategically about restoring the fundamental greatness of our great nation through domestic resource development and renewable energy sources that allow the private sector to create the jobs that our great nation so greatly yearns for at this pivotal time in our most exceptionally fundamental greatness.

And in conclusion: republic, maverick, liberty, and Ronald Reagan. Because all of those were written on the palm of my hand. Which to me is vaguely biblical. I'm sure we can all agree on that.
