Back from OWS just now. What kind of coverage did we get?

Today was unions and community groups rallying in Foley Square ( about a 1/2 mile away) and marching to OWS.

Foley square was jammed. *Jammed*.

The short but serpentine route to Zuccotti, took forever. ( Streets down there are *really* narrow.

And there was a huge crush of people. Impossible to estimate. :Fewer than 50,000. More than 10,000, I'd say.

Finally got to see OWS! It's great. Lots of emotion as we entered into the liberated zone off B'Way.

Spirits were uniformly high. Crowd was great. Civilized, sharp, motivated, diverse as" all get out".

And guess what, 60's and 70's era radicals? This is primarily a young peoples' movement.

They're like we were. Only smarter.

Lastly: there seemed to be lots of media including $$$ media trucks.

So.... did we make the news?

As I posted in another thread:

Pretty good coverage actually. Explained that it's about dissatisfaction over multiple issues. Even showed the "We Are The 1%" sign at CBOT in Chicago.
