Thank you for the Postal Service. In 20 years only one piece of important mail was lost, and that was probably stolen.
The ability to mail a document from Alaska to Florida for 44 cents is something we all should be proud of, and is underrated and unappreciated. And your parcel services are much better than UPS and cheaper than FED EX. And at least in the case of UPS, Miles more reliable. The nightmare I experienced once with an important parcel has convinced me to never *ever* use their "service" again.
Everyone has stuff they want to sell, and the USPS is the best way to ship. It would be great if they could set up something like Ebay, to provide competition and an alternative.
The USPS should be *SUBSIDIZED* not marginalized.
In 5 seconds our government spends >$10,000 on the wars in the middle east (costofwar.com) and just think of what $10k could do for the postal service in your town. THAT IS 5 SECONDS of our war spending.
sometimes i feel like i'm living in an alternate reality
