My parents bought an Apple IIe when I was 12.
It was on that machine I learned I liked programming, and better than that I liked algorithms.

Thank you Steve Jobs!

3. OMG... I wrote commercial programs for the II and IIe and IIc.
We did pretty good at it.

Remember anything with a "Hangman's Game" type-in setup at the bottom. Likely from us or using our authoring system.

... ;-)

6. I bought an Apple IIe in the '70s.
That was the best little computer. I used it for freelance work and it more than doubled the $1300 that I paid for it at that time. Than I bought PCs throughout the years and had so many problems that I finally decided to go for a Mac Mini. It is the best computer that I have had. No problems, just minor glitches that restart doesn't cure.
