This is someone who according to senior McCain advisers didn't know there was both a North and South Korea. This was someone who according to senior Republican operatives who worked with her extensively couldn't possibly have passed the most basic 7th grade level history and civics exam. There was no hiding her ignorance. It was absolutely transparent. As profoundly ignorant as Ronald Reagan, Dan Quayle, George W. Bush or more recently Michele Bachmann are - They would have all been Oxford dons compared to Sarah Palin. What kind of mentality does it take for someone to actually want someone like that to enter the race when they have several other right-wing kooks already in the race who should be sufficiently ignorant enough for their taste. What kind of mentality wants someone who is transparently and obviously nutty, silly and profoundly ignorant to enter the race because the other ignorant nuts like Bachmann, Cain, Santorum, Gingrich or Perry are dumb, ignorant and kooky - but just not dumb, ignorant and kooky enough?
