Steve Jobs posts relegate Obama press confab to "who cares".
Really the telling moment on the DU network.

4. This is the last post for the day with SJ's name in the title that I open
today. ANd for that, matter any post with Apple or any computer reference in the title as well. Will be hiding all of them. I don't think there is anything else to be said on the man or the business.

5. Yeah, but so did whats-her-name who was tried for killing her baby.
Things of the current tend to dominate things of the overall stream.

8. Only because a handful of DUers just LOVE a snark war...
Edited on Thu Oct-06-11 10:40 AM by hlthe2b
Many doing so then deign to claim they are "more concerned with OWS as the rest of us should be"... yet they spend all their time sniping on Steve Jobs threads. Hypocrisy, you know which DUers OWN you (and boy, do they). :eyes:

Why DU goes through this kind of cycle so often, I'll never know, but it is depressing to see.

That said, I am listening live on XM-SIrius to the MSNBC feed.

9. -1
I don't know where are you getting the news from but I am watching the presser in a local cafe right now. Too bad it is muted.

Weird, the first place that I have ever been not showing CNN or FAUX NOOS.

11. I believe, to date, Jobs has had a longer lasting influence on society than Obama.
And that the threads on his death are appropriate.
