a new scam aimed at older women
This comes in a plain white envelope with your name and address hand printed on the envelope. Inside is what looks like a torn page from a magazine advertising an anti wrinkle and skin improving product. The scam is in the left corner of torn page is a hand printed note using your first name that says I have tried this and it works. At first you think it is from a friend and like me actually call the number. I received another one today and now I know it is a scam, no friend sent this. The torn page is just a phoney, not torn but printed to look torn.

2. Too bad our
culture doesn't send them to the other gender as well.

I hope I get one so I can send it on to my Atty. General.

3. Thanks for the alert!
I'm going to pass this info along to my wife, and every other woman in my family and social circle.

5. Got something similar as a car dealership ad
Plain envelope, hand-written address, and inside was what appeared to be a page torn from a newspaper with a post-it note, also hand-written (or perhaps the comment was written right on the newsprint--I forget). It took me a few seconds to suss it out (the page wasn't from any of our few local newspapers), but I'm afraid someone not in full command of his/her faculties, like a senior citizen, might fall for it.

6. Wouldn't people notice the return address or lack of signature from "the friend"?
A "friend" would be most obviously identifiable, no?

7. Not so new...
I got a couple of those a few years ago. Also one for weight loss products.
