we have the technology. Its past time for our representative government to be acting based on their party dictates instead of the voters.

Remove budgetary decision making from Congress. Let the American people decide exactly how they want their money spent AND as a bonus they can get identification about what parts of the government they haven't paid for so they can begin paying use taxes for those items.

I communicate in depth with my government every single year. I'd be happy to include in my tax return, my directions for how I want my taxes spent in the following fiscal year.

I don't want to support war or foreign aid which is wrapped in weaponry although foreign aid in food, medicine, education, I'm just fine with.

I don't want even a single dollar to go to those items: and my beliefs against killing should matter every bit as much as the anti-choice voters beliefs.

It should be possible for our direct input be a driving force behind the government budget. I'm guessing that a lot of lobbyist would be SOL if we could substantially direct the budget based on direct democracy.
