10. I just finished writing a wordpress plugin...

...that grabs images you are trying to hotlink, downloads them to your own wordpress media library (so you aren't leeching someone else's bandwidth), and gives credit to the site where you got the image.

I was planning on making it available sometime today.

14. Thanks. It's actual intended purpose is something else entirely...

...but I figured if you want to use it to hotlink images, why not add those images to your own library? Your site would probably load faster and you would sleep better in the knowledge that you are not possibly costing someone you'll probably never meet money.

Like I said, I'll be going through all the hoops to make it publicly available today. If anyone wants to know when it's available, PM me. It's free BTW.

DogKnob Quotes is yet another random quotes plugin, but I added a bunch of features (like optional images) that I hadn't found in others.

Also, there are already some plugins available that do nothing but add hotlinks to your media library. There aren't many because wordpress has virtually no documentation on how to do this.
