Attorney General Eric Holder in Fox's sights... how stupid are they?
So our dear friends on Fox News have essentially started a campaign to try to get Eric Holder resigned. Really? The guy who turned a blind eye to all of Bush and Cheney et al's crimes, that's the guy you want to get rid of just to put another head on a pike at the entrance to Fox HQ? Don't you understand... you get rid of the guy who looks the other way, you might not get so lucky with his replacement.

But I guess I'm living in a fantasy world if I think anyone Obama would appoint would hold someone accountable for crimes against humanity. So why not take Holder down? Fox News looking for another frag, just so they can say, "pwned. haha."

4. "...hold someone accountable for crimes against humanity."
Edited on Thu Oct-06-11 02:25 PM by Cool Logic
The best way to avoid "crimes against humanity" is to simply avoid engaging ourselves in unnecessary wars. You, me and anyone who casts a vote for an elected official is responsible for the decisions made by the people we choose to represent us.

Hence, "We the People" are equally accountable for the unnecessary wars and their inhumane and uncivilized consequences.

Having said that, Lady Justice is supposed to be blind, not partisan. Let the chips fall where they may.

5. Whitehouse need to cut their losses on this
More and more about it is coming out. Starting ordering up special prosecutors and accepting resignations/retirements.

7. It would be transparency and accountability
key elements in the campaign that we are yet to see much of. That said, I had much lower expectations then and now.

8. It might be if it was ONLY republicans wanting to get rid of Holder.
I'm a lifelong Democrat, and I believe that Holder is one of the three greatest mistakes Obama made - sitting right below Geitner and right above Arne Duncan.
