5. The OWS group is five blocks north in McPherson square

They're calling it "Occupy K Street"

The Freedom Plaza protest came out of Tavis Smiley and Cornell West's tour earlier this year; not specifically related but certainly allied.

I was there today; the largest faction seems to be Code Pink.

Just remembered: Saw AlJazeera interview early afternoon at Freedom Plaza; definitely OWS-related, unemployed mother seeking work, complaining about repug congress, banks etc.

Al Jazeera may have confused October 2011 (the Freedom Plaza Code Pink thing) with OWS, but there's no coordination there; OWS is up on 16th and K.
