Ten years in Afghanistan.

Beney/Chush started it.

Obama extended, blessed and sanctified it.

No goal.

No end in sight.

Commander du jour says we will be there a loooooong time.

If you accept that Obama is right to stay, then you must also accept that Cheney and george were right to go there in the first place.

Do you accept that?

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!

4. And now that Afghanistan is
spending so much time with Pakistan, well maybe there will be a whole bunch of little wars running around the planet.

18. A pile of empty beer cans would be closer to actual "aluminum" residue than what appears
to be brass/zinc casings in the image you provided.

12. Amazing how few care about this any more.
Even here, where we ought to know better.

Are people afraid to acknowledge that this war is now owned by the Democrats?

16. I say it all the time
It was wrong to start with, and it's wrong to continue.

But I've realized something- we live in a society of illusions, and very few people are willing to give theirs up.

17. If I were a 'contractor' I would definitely be celebrating.
Lots of money available to keep these wars going. It's amazing too since we are being told constantly that there is no money to keep people in this country alive.

Lots of people depending on those retirement funds from blowing up poor people.
