2. I quit working as a wage slave 9 years ago

I don't regret it for a minute. I'd love to go back to work again but not for someone who considers me a liability. I never left a job that they wouldn't have taken me back in a NY minute. I just got too tired of trying to keep my employers from committing financial suicide. I'd love to go back to work again but not at the cost to my mental health. I'd do work independently but too much of the time would be invested in being a businessman not doing the work I love. Add to that, I've got my 90 y/o mother to care for. Until she's gone, I'll be happy to do that job and try to keep up my skills.
