My husband was recently laid off. I'm a stay-at-home mom. Hello stress!!!

I'm probably returning to work and hubby is pounding the pavement.

So many have been through it and understand. Until you've been there, you have NO IDEA what
a nightmare it is and how stressful the situation can be.

I've been looking for a long time myself and just signed up for a possible training program that would lead to fulltime employment and had another company say I needed to take the 'technology proficiency test' (I have a BS in computer science so I don't see that as a problem) so at least they didn't say no. Being a 57 year old worker who is trying to reenter the IT field after being away for 8 years trying to start my own business and dealing with my wife's medical problems it is not easy but you just have to keep a positive attitude and keep looking.
