A friend was at the protests all day Thursday and finding a clean john has become a major topic/issue. TDS took a shot at it the other day...many businesses won't let people use the john unless they buy something. As the crowds get larger the problems of sanitation will grow larger as well. You can't force someone to open their potty. My friend admitted that he took a hike down to Fort Clinton and relieved himself in the Hudson when no one was watching.

Many local businesses being forced to close their bathrooms because they're being trashed/don't have the staff to clean it after every use. If this continues to spread, it just gives the police more ammo to crack down.

Its far from trivial. Its a serious health concern. What would it take to organize a few sets of port-o-potties?
