To the corporate media & the GOP: There IS one overarching demand of OWS...
Government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

3. Which is a function of a healthy democracy.
Not a government fueled by corporate dollars that caters to the financial elite.

4. Yes- I am not disagreeing w/ you at all, just narrowing things down.
IMHO, no one would be protesting if there were good jobs and we could all have a decent out look on the future...

6. What do you base that assumption on?
I don't think that necessarily follows.

7. By "good jobs"
do you mean work that contribute to society in beneficial ways or big salary?

8. Me or the the average protester? I would want a mix of both.

And the salary does not have to be " big" - I just want a decent standard of living and be able to afford food, bills, maybe a house or more stable place to live someday. I'm not particularly materialistic.

5. Grab yourself a copy of the D & R of DC Group's playbook and you will discover...
that the rules have been changed.

We now have a government of, by, and for two corrupt political parties. The troubling aspect of it all relates to the fact that while Congress' approval rating is in the low teens, their reelection rate is in the high 90s.

The OWS assemblage and anyone else who casts a vote for an elected official, need look no further than their mirrors to discover the crux of our predicament.

9. With all that in mind, why are you posting on a Democratic site?

We vote for Democrats here and apparently we do not meet with your approval.
