Is the free food. I have really been struggling and still have not been able to pay this months rent. On thurs I made $9 at work. This movement has not only given me drive and purpose, but haS also helped me save money

Can we order from somewhere?

3. Honest question...
What are vegan muffins? The only thing I can think of is substituting apple sauce for eggs.

5. Just curious...
I've made many batches of muffins in the past, and the only thing I could think of was eggs and, possibly oil; which can be derived from vegetables. I'm not a vegan kind of gal... I was just interested. :)

6. I'm not fully vegan..
I've tried though. I changed to vegetarian a few years ago.

I still like cheese and dairy and sometimes fish. It's been tough for me to get over that hump! :) No chicken, pork or red meat though. That was easy.

The vegan muffins I think are made with fruit and flour and some sort of other filler possibly veggie oil. They taste great though!

8. I could probably eat better...
Edited on Sat Oct-08-11 08:18 PM by catabryna
but, at least I can say I'm not sitting on my ass in a law office on Bee Caves Road, wasting precious days I could be spending with my son... and I've lost weight. Go figure! :hi:

eta: I did lose time with people who were special to me, but I helped a lot of people too, and that sort of evens things out for me.

9. Oh I hear you.
Going veggie was very hard for me. My husband is not. He loves meat!

I feel better, but I mainly did it for health. I was gaining weight. Love animals, but that was not my motivation intially.

Vegan, I respect very much so, it's a lifestyle that is very hard to submit to!

2. Absolutely. We have to take care of each other because no one else will.
This economic/resource model needs to become nationalized. Thank you so much for being there and making a difference!

7. That is goddamn appalling. I love you. I hate that that is a statement that a human can make.
Much less a human in the worlds single economic superpower.

(Note: I say it is appalling because you say you cannot pay your rent and that the free food helps, CHRIST. That actually makes my stomach hurt thinking about it.)

Stay strong!
