Google Trends shows word "occupy" traffic has over 20 times jump worldwide in past 3 weeks.

Google Trends shows word "occupy" traffic has over 20 times jump worldwide in past 3 weeks.
The last word to make that size bump in search traffic was "Osama" on May 2 - the day they announced his death. To put in perspective, consider every internet connect & every user doing something 22 times more than normal. "Jobs" got a little over 1 increase on the day his death was announced by Apple.

at http://trendsmap.com/ - I see a number of prominent "Occupy" around NY and Seattle area, and more if you zoom in

And "thanksgiving" for some reason appears to be a big deal...

Editing to add that #occupywallstreet #OWS and Occupy are all showing up - perhaps part of why something thinks it's not trending may be that people aren't all on using the same tagging
