7. Yes, its a generational thing
1337 means leet, as in elite. Replacing letters and replacing them with similar looking numbers is known as '1337 speak'. It's an internet fad among Generation X and the Millennials.

9. The one demand was no taxation without representation. The Declaration of Independence was
exactly what its title says it was. It declared our independence from the English empire based on the fact that the demand of taxation without representation was not met.

13. read the complete document. taxation was merely one of many complaints.
taxation without representation may have been the sum total of the demands at the boston tea party, but the declaration of independence had a lot more to say.

14. Well, if it was the sum total, then that was the single demand. If the sum to the problem 2+2 is 4
then 4 is the only answer.
