HEADS-UP on posting thru DISQUS! (User-name hijacking is WAY TOO EASY!)

I had a recent thread where I was posting on a troll-laden site (mediaite, unfortunately, as their content is great), thru Disqus,
and had my user name (tomwaitsfornorman, which I liked very much, as I love being clever) hijacked! I changed my password, and wrote
Disqus; this was their response:

Hi Tom,

Since Disqus is available across many different sites, we allow users to set their avatar and full name/display name without requiring that they be unique. If you feel that someone is impersonating you, we'd recommend contacting the moderator of the site in question.

Pretty weak, huh? Just thought y'all might like to know what a piece o' cake it is to steal usernames on Disqus!

(Frankly, I feel rather Disqusted!)
