1. Just caught a bit of Fox in passing
about 30 minutes ago here in the UK. They were interviewing passers by all of whom supported the protests anyway. As such the result of their poll doesn't surprise.

Edited to update the figures to the recent breakthrough of the psychological 65% barrier (which I'm assuming exists somewhere in Coporationville).

4. Here's how Faux will spin this to their idiot viewers:
64% of those polled support the protesters, while 32% don't. 32 is half of 64, SO, half of Americans don't support the protesters. :)

5. By rights, this result oughtta scare the Bejesus outta TPTB.
Shit, if Fox can't be trusted to deliver a wingnut-slanted result, who can? If they're getting in the neighborhood of 63-37 IN FAVOR of OWS, then the level of support in the public at large must be 90%.

19. Never underestimate the powers of denial in a well-practiced mind.
The typical FReeper would deny the validity of the law of gravity while in the process of falling from an airplane.

20. 66% ... Thats just a fringe.
like the fringe that wanted a Public Option,

or the fringe that wants the RICH to pay their fair share,

or the fringe that opposes "Free Trade",

or the fringe that....

Who will STAND and FIGHT for THIS American Majority?
The Wall Street Protesters WILL!!

You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their excuses.

26. interesting choices of word in that 'poll'
"I am not even sure what they want" is the meme that FOX et al has been pushing. No surprise to see it first.

The second choice sounds so serious and 'grown up'

The third choice use of "the little guy" seems like a subtle discouragement - who wants to identify with "the little guy". It's, well, belittling.

Anyway, they're insignificant assholes, FOX 'News' is.

I'm curious to see what's being said by the 1,351 who went for that option and for those who followed this instruction "Share your thoughts, answer our question then click "Leave a Comment."" but haven't been able to find their comments.
