A very special Walmart moment.....
This just happened about 10 minutes ago...

A child, 5 or 6ish, is running around the produce section wildly. Kid runs up and just WAPOW kicks this enormous mumu clad woman in the shins. This woman is definitely not the mother.

The kicked woman is shocked and scolds the child "Hey! What are you doing? You shouldn't kick people"

2 seconds later the entire produce section hears a loud and thunderous "Oh NO YOU DIDN'T" and we see the child's mother come over and rip into the kicked woman. She proceeds to threaten to kick the ass of the fat woman for daring to scold her child.

The kicked woman threatens to call CPS and the mother dares her to do it and then gives her the triple air finger snap and a hearty "Back up bitch" and a chest thrust...

It's like they took every stereotype, wrapped them up into a little ball and put on a performance piece...

In summary America is doomed with "parents" like this raising the next generation... That is all...

9. Hell, why not? Mom's performance has gotta be amusing as hell to the kid.
Do it again mom!

2. So someone should have called a manager
and documented they witnessed the incident.

Or perhaps stepped in and said to the mother that her child was witnessed kicking a stranger.

weird story.

3. The mother conceded that the child was kicking....
... but didn't recognize the "authority" of the kickee to respond.

5. In order to protect the woman who was kicked
it still might have been good to have the situation documented.

Me? A tot kicks me and I'm going to just head on out of the area.

8. Oh, dear, I might have told that mother she was damned lucky I didn't kick back
and that she was doing a piss poor job of being a mother if that little brat felt like he could assault (yes, ASSAULT) strangers in a store and did she want to make a bet on how old he'd get before he got sent to juvie? And I have a stage voice that will carry all over a Wal Mart and draw a crowd.

I don't make a scene often but when I do, it's a keeper.

23. Likewise.
In my case, something along the lines of "Next time, I kick back...and I race bicycles."

4. Yeah, we barely survived the generation that raised GWB, etc.
Really? Damning an entire group of parents over your special Walmart moment? This could go on and on... What about the parent who raised the parent you saw?

What's your point?

Don't overthink this... (in the loosest sense of the word of course)

7. And the generation that raised GWB
(not the parents but the generation) was a pretty good one imo.

That's the generation that raised me. My 85 year old parents are still truckin' along, voted for Obama last election (though I doubt they will next election), and are a tough couple of birds.

Or the kid?

13. I agree, but in response to others, it was not a generation that raised that little monster.
It was the revolting thing of a mother that created that little monster. Every generation raises idiots, now days there are just more of us, so its not necessarily that there are proportionately more assholes, just more in absolute numbers.

17. Proud member of the Future Criminals of America
I would not want to have the misfortune of coming in contact with that young man in about 10 years, if he lives that long.

We can thank his empty headed mother now.

"you're just a n**ger", one of reps knelt down and said to her "you shouldn't say things like that to people"...the mother of the kid went off on the rep..and then got quietly kicked out of the store
this was a camera store I worked at in the eighties

21. Ugh, I hate parents like that, and they are getting more common.
A week ago at work (a thrift store) my supervisor got after me for getting after a child who was playing with fragile merchandise because she didn't want to offend the parents. :eyes:
