53 Percent of Voters Hold Unfavorable View of Radical Governor

MADISON-A statewide poll released Monday by the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, conducted in mid-September, showed radical Gov. Scott Walker with low favorability ratings and highly vulnerable to recall. (See attached memo.)

The poll shows that independents support the recall of Walker by a margin of 16 points, 52-to-36 percent, and that more than half of all voters, 52 percent, disapprove of Walker's job performance.

"Scott Walker has spent his time in office grabbing political power and catering to corporate interests, not fighting for the middle class," Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Mike Tate said Monday. "Because of his actions, Scott Walker has rendered himself vulnerable to the one tool left for Wisconsin to hold him accountable-his recall."

1. Get the sigs first
The recall Rick Snyder effort in Michigan was a Keystone Cops operation. And he is not popular either. Don't do it the way they did.

3. Good advice from bluestateguy. Don't become complacent, and
not everybody agrees with the Dem Party Chair. Plus, I'm just guessing Walker and his cohorts have been doing things (passing laws?) to ensure that the Dem vote (and others who are not white and rich) will be oppressed.

5. What percent of *all* voters support recall if the unfavorability is only 52/3%?
