We need a NON-VIOLENT war
This is a war for the very future of our country. If we fail here, if we allow the wealthy, the fatcat corporations, the 1% to continue with their actions, we can kiss our way of life goodbye. They have made it abundantly clear they do not need us, nor do they want us. It's "our fault" that we are unemployed or not rich. They call us "unpatriotic" for voicing our concerns, for exercising our Constitutional right to assemble and protest.

As the OWS movement grows and spreads across the country, so does the response. Tonight, we witness an assault on our protesting brethren in Boston. We've seen cops in New York joking about using their nightsticks to assault protestors.

It's time to let everyone know just how serious this is, just how many of us there are. There should be strikes nationwide, in every major city. We need to bring things to a grinding halt. Perhaps this will be the only way to get across just how serious this is.

We will not commit acts of violence. We will not assault anyone, destroy any property. We WILL, however, exercise our right to protest and assemble in public. Don't like it, too fucking bad, we're here. We will not be confined to "free speech" zones, we will NOT give in to extortional demands for insurance payments in order to protest. We will not be told that we must behave like nice polite protestors.

We are the 99%. This means there are a LOT more of us than there are of them. We need to make them realize that. This is war, albiet a non-violent war. If we lose this, then we truly lose.
