Woman runs marathon, has baby a few hours later
Amber Miller, 27, completed all 26 miles of the Chicago marathon Sunday, and then gave birth to a healthy baby girl about seven hours later. She was 38 weeks and five days pregnant.

And if you're thinking Miller delivered a small baby, think again. Baby June Audra weighed in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces.

“The race was definitely easier than labor,” Miller said at a news conference at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Ill., on Monday morning, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Sunday's marathon was Miller's eighth, and the second one she has run while pregnant. She completed a marathon when she was 17-weeks pregnant with her first child.

1. Jeeze, talk about a sore cervix! Six hours of baby head bouncing off it, THEN labor.
Well, as long as her doctor approved it (sounds like he ok'd a half-and-half walk and run), I think it's great. That lady is certainly not one for being slowed down in her persuits!

of every bumpy road/railroad track crossing in town.. She ended up having her 9 pounder when he was ready to show up..:)

3. My friend continued show jumping well into her 8th month
She trusted her horse implicitly, and had been jumping since she was a small child., Her doctor said it was ok., We thought she was nuts, but she was fine and so was her baby.
