After fierce clashes with Republicans this year, the state's largest teachers' union isn't going gently into that good night.

The Michigan Education Association (MEA) is shelling out about $500,000 on ads statewide, MIRS reports. The union is spending a little under $25,000 for spots in the 51st District where House Education Chair Paul Scott (R-Grand Blanc) is being recalled.

The new ad features a fat-cat CEO stealing an apple, backpack and a piano from kids. That's a criticism that Gov. Rick Snyder and legislative Republicans gave a $1.8 billion dollar tax cut to big businesses while cutting $1 billion in education funding.

Here's the ad:

3. Looks like with a little reworking it could be useful in a lot of places other than MI
