Turkey Stalks Terrified California News Producer
A California producer had a terrifying encounter recently when she was chased down by an overly-aggressive wild turkey.

The reporter went to a residential area in Sacramento in an attempt to follow up on a story of joggers reportedly being chased down by the bird. And while her cameras were rolling, the producer captured the turkey getting a little too close for her comfort.

The producer can be heard frantically screaming in terror as the turkey chases her down the street.

While a USPS truck nearly saved the day, the producer finally had to jump into her car to escape the aggressive fowl. The turkey then followed up by staring at her and circling the car.

7. What a dipstick! What did she think that turkey was going to do? It obvious that she doesn't
speak turkey. All that poor little birdie wanted was some bird seed.

(Reminds me of my younger days on the farm. My mother was city bred and was afraid of milk cows. She made us make sure the gates to our yard were all LOCKED before the cows came home every afternoon, so the cows didn't unlatch them and come in and eat us kids... :scared: NOT :D

10. One other possibility.
Maybe the turkey has been hand fed by the residents and he was coming over for some food?

'cuz, something similar happened to me when I was leaving the library and an Oviedo hen/rooster followed me to the car. I couldn't tell which it was because it seemed to have an adam's apple and feathery furlocks, but it looked like a hen. So I think it was an androgynous Oviedo chicken. The whole time I was walking to my car I kept telling myself, "Keep moving, keep moving, must outsmart the chicken." You see my remote to unlock the car doesn't work so I had to keep walking around my car to fish out my keys out of my purse to try to open the door on the second pass.

It was only later that I figured out that the s/he hen just wanted to be fed.
