Tinfoily? Sure. But "Howley" is how you pronounce "haole"...Hawaiian for "white guy".

1. I thought Haole meant "has no soul", literally.
Make your own conclusions on this.

17. All in jest, there, carrot top.
:hide:

I melt at red hair. It's my real weakness, I'm afraid.

I'm known to make them myself.

It happens sometimes.

3. Whenever you think it didn't post, wait a minute
and check. It almost always posted. I learned that by posting a number of dupes.

8. And you can always ask a Mod to remove the extra postings.
We'll remove the one that has no comments or combine the threads if they all have comments. :hi:

12. Yes, I understand, but checking to see if what you posted posted
Edited on Tue Oct-11-11 06:55 PM by MineralMan
works, too. I started doing that after the third time when an internet glitch caused a duplicate. Third time's a charm, I guess. Did I give bad advice, do you think?

14. Nope, not at all.
Once you check and there are extra postings, just alert on the extra threads and we'll take care of them for you, is all. I find it easier to remove than to combine because sometimes when threads are combined they don't read as smoothly.

15. Well, that's good to know. It doesn't happen to me much any more,
but I know it's a common thing. I even copy and paste the body of my posts to the clipboard before posting, so I can repost easily if the post doesn't happen.

The Internet is a glitchy thing. Yes, indeed, it is.

5. I think Boehner and the Koch brothers have fake names, too.
If pronounced the way they're spelled, they both mean "penis" in English.

9. Not every thought that comes into your head is worthy of posting.
Try Googling "Howley." It's a fairly common family name.

Edited on Tue Oct-11-11 06:53 PM by MineralMan
I don't know whether it is his real name or not, and it's of little significance. He's a moron. That's all I need to know.

My name's not MineralMan, either. Isn't that an interesting coincidence? I'm betting your real name isn't elehhhhna, either.
