Ron Paul wins Bloomberg readers poll as best candidate on the economy
Source: Examiner

On October 12th, the Republican presidential hopefuls met at Dartmouth University for a debate on economic issues which was sponsored by Bloomberg. Several questions that included the taxation, job creation, housing, and welfare benefits were asked of the candidates, and in a readers poll conducted after the debates were finished, Congressman Ron Paul was voted the candidate who understands the economy best by a landslide.

Yes, let's not tax anyone (especially not the rich), leave corporations alone and remove the minimum wage. THAT'S not going to end badly or anything.

2. If elections were an internet poll, Paul would be the GOP nominee challenging President Kucinich

3. Ron Paul gives the most complete explanations which naturally makes
him look most knowledgeable. Paul has been teaching Libertarianism
for years. A true believer can always impress because they
believe something and are not ashanced to stand up and fight
for it.

I do also believe if someone goes through and explains
confidently just what happens under a Libertarian form
of government the majority would run like mad awasy from
it.

If there were a handful of Democrats doing as good a job
on what it means to be a Democrat and teaching the truth
about Liberalism, things would be a lot different in this
country.

Right now the American People are getting full doses of
Conservatixm and Libertariansm. This is what they have
to choose from.

4. King of the straw polls and the internet polls. Very impressive.
Or so the media apparently wants us to believe.

Remember all that hullabaloo about Bachman's winning the corn dog straw poll, or whatever it was?

Dick Gregory, host of the longest running new show (well, they claim it's still a news show) in all of television actually said with a straight face on the Today Show the following morning that winning that poll proved Bachman had to be treated like a serious contender. Or some nonsense to that effect.

What tripe. And, no Anthony Bourdain fans (fan?), I don't mean that in a good way.
