So, the salon I've known and loved for decades was shot up yesterday...
I'm still trying to find out if my stylist is on the fatality list... I've known her for 30 some years... my sisters, my daughter, and four in-laws were all her clients... no answer to my voicemail or text to her phone... I am assuming the worst. I tried calling the Seal Beach police this morning, but the regular admin people who attend to such details aren't in yet.

Michelle, the woman whose ex-husband did the shooting, occupied the station next to my stylist's.

I just learned he's a fucking TEABAGGER!!! A fucking gun toting cumstain TEABAGGER!!!

Check out his license plate frame.

2. I am so sorry
I saw this on the news this morning and I, once again, can't understand how someone does this? Totally innocent people going about their business.

I am so sorry for you and everyone close to this situation and the people who are the victims. It's just awful.

4. JuniperLea, I'm sorry to hear that. That's horrific and terrible and I hope...
...your stylist is ok. Despite the fact that these horrors go on all the time in this world, I was browsing the news yesterday and saw the face of a woman who had just learned of the shooting- and the agony and shock on her face was indescribable.

Terrible.

5. Terrible stuff
I love Seal Beach, family history there going back to WW2 times. My best to you and all who are there, from the bottom of my heart.

12. Aw man - Seal Beach is such a mellow little community. I went to college near there

and we'd go watching for grunion nearby during grunion-running season. Nice quiet mellow town by the beach.

Just horribly horribly sad.

Sadder still - he had a teabagger license plate. Why am I not surprised?

Even worse - access to all the guns and ammo he could have wanted.

Yeah, I know, I know. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. WITH GUNS.

I just LOVE those "Second Amendment Remedies."

8. How awful. I know that my wife has a friendly relationship with
her hair stylist. I can't imagine. These things affect real people.

10. This is from the article.
Hours later, investigators were still combing through the vehicle, which bore a Raiders football sticker on the tailgate and a Tea Party license plate frame on the front bumper.

I'm surprised they mention this at all. But, it's good to get in out into the public. Whether or not it has anything to do with the shooting is still to early to tell.

9. What an awful day for all the victims.
And there were more victims than those directly involved in that senseless massacre.

17. I saw some headlines yesterday and pics but couldn't
find the story.

My condolences.

Had this been an OWS protester it would be all over the news.

A Teabagger (when normally the media sniff them out like dogs)? Meh

Tea baggers only make the news when they act like good corporate lackeys.
