I've used Greendot quite a bit over the years. The 4.95 a month + $4.95 to add money to your account sucks, but it is less than the RushCard prices:

Maybe I am missing something here, but it seems like protesting the $5.00 BoA fee while welcoming the OWS support of Russell Simmons is like, to quote my grandma, gagging on a gnat while swallowing a camel. He is one of the 1% who is specifically getting rich on the backs of the financially disadvantaged.
