No Limit On Walker Donations For Recall Effort Officials: $10,000 Limit Doesn't Apply
MADISON, Wis. -- State law allows donors to give unlimited cash to defend Gov. Scott Walker against a possible recall election.

During regular elections for governor, individuals are allowed to donate no more than $10,000. But, in the case of a recall, the cap is removed.

Government Accountability Board spokesman Reid Magney told the Wisconsin State Journal that unlike regular elections, recalls leave politicians with little time to raise money.

Democrats will begin an effort to recall the Republican governor over his contentious union rights law beginning Nov. 15, meaning an election could be held as early as next spring.

This could be a big problem.

1. His opponents will need to publicize this widely.
Let everyone know that he has access to unlimited money from his filthy rich out-of-state donors.

Shout it out, cheeseheads!

6. As in the summer elections, expect the GOP to cry the opposite
Of course it feels like the WIGOP lives in bizzaro-world. You can ALWAYS tell what shenanigans they're up to by listening to what they're accusing their opponents of doing.

As in the summer elections, expect the GOP to cry about "all the out-of-state union money" coming in to Walker's opponents. All while they roll their big fatty Koch checks to the bank in wheelbarrows.

Right wingers I know STILL talk about how "out-of-state" groups poured money to Democrats during the summer recalls, when exactly the opposite was true--D's were outspent overall by a huge margin, and mostly from out-of-state GOP donors.

8. I misread that headline at first. So his *defenders* can give unlimited resources.
Awful.
