Because the GOP have passed enough anti-abortion laws all in the name of the holy fetus. But today the House GOP passed a law that will allow more mercury to poison our air.

House Passes Incinerator Bill That The EPA Warns Will Kill Thousands

WASHINGTON -- Less than an hour after passing the so-called Protect Life Act to guard the unborn, the House of Representatives passed a bill that the EPA warns will kill thousands of people prematurely.

House Republicans argued that the EPA Regulatory Relief Act of 2011 was a "timeout" from long-delayed regulations aimed at mercury that threatened to raise costs on boiler operators and incinerators. But the measure also exempts smaller burning facilities from any regulation at all.

The EPA estimated that the bill, H.R. 2550, would allow 20,000 people to die prematurely from pollution.

But for the GOP, preserving the jobs was more important.

3. Safest place in the world - I'm going back there this weekend
Since clearly as a human I have no rights to my body or the rights to live in a world that is safe from pollution.

4. No we don't.
Only some 24 to 26% of all voters consider themselves Republicans. And the last eight years of a Republican Presidency came about through ignoring, altering and circumventing the results at the ballot box.

The only reason that the two Party system is surviving is because the Talking Heads do their best to keep it alive.

And when the "liberal" Talking heads like Maddow and Schultz devote a third of their program or more to talking about RW idiots, it only bolsters the conviction that the Two Party System is viable.

6. Voters destroyed the GOP in 2006 & 2008. Why are they back?

7. I'm guessing it's because they knew they weren't happy, voted for change, didn't get any
and swung back the other way.

No excuse: they should pay more attention and stop listening to preachers telling them what's good, but...

The Democrats could have shown all of us what a decently run country would look like.

Only by the time they were in office, they were DINOs, not Democrats.

(None of which explains why anyone would see or hear someone like Bachmann without the desire to puke all over her)

8. That's anti-choice. There is nothing about life with this group
Pro-life means you oppose abortion but still back smart laws for environment, education, unions and the working class. Probably one of the few truly pro-life people in congress is Bob Casey. Outside of abortion he's one of the most liberal senators in DC.
