OWS doesn't need leaders but they need leadership...
They don't have to have one leader but they need many leaders. Each leader could be in charge of a cell. A cell could consist of about 100 people or less. They should be able to coordinate information with each other. People need to know what is going on within the movement. New people could join the cell of their choice. They would only have to give their email address or ph# in order to stay informed. Without leadership or coordination, I fear they will lose the battle. Information is vital. We need many leaders. This is just my opinion.
Not only the Internet but cell phones, Blackberrys, etc. But they have to know what is going on. The live sites are very important. But how do you get the coordination that is needed?
5. I think they're doing something similar to that
They obviously have General Assembly meetings. Perhaps they've chosen a chair to mediate the time allotment for each speaker. Isn't that the way it's usually done. Someone basically makes sure the general rules of assembly are followed and someone takes the minutes.
