Why in heavens name did they have so many right wing cons on, with Thom being the only liberal? He couldn't get a word in for their blabbering.

What a disappointment. Typical though, our side tends to be polite and fair, which means we wait for others to finish speaking before we speak. And that in turn means that the well trained rightwing blabberers just monopolize the time slot. But this has been going on for well over a decade now. Clue up! Cut in. Talk over. Don't let them move to the next line of polished bullshit without first demolishing the last barrage of crap.

2. I was so excited to hear Thom was going to be on. I would like

to see him appear again, but with a more balanced show. E-gads everybody on the show was republicans or right-wing libertarians.

3. Bill Maher likes to have fair representaion on his show

Normally, he has 2 Dems and a rightie...last week he had 3 Dems, so this week he had 2 R's. I had never seen Thom on TV before - I thought he did well and maybe the more prudent strategy was to let those 2 blowhards show their ignorance to the world. Which they certainly did. :)

The woman was blathering and spewing her rightwing talking points so incoherently at one point the audience was laughing at her. I'd never seen her before but she came across as a complete moron.

5. Maher doesn't help.

He needs to call a halt when the first bullshit barrage is uttered, and he needs to stay on that bullshit and refuse to let the bullshitters move on until the issue is settled. They know what they are doing. One barrage after another, never stop, never defend.

7. That show last night had too much going on.

Half the show was about religious hypocrisy. Hartmann is not going to add value there (neither did Fund and Cabrera). The show is a full hour without commercials and it seems too short.
