Occupy Wall Street Protesters Reportedly Arrested For Closing Their Accounts
"The Wall Street Journal has confirmed the arrests. According to their report, 24 people were arrested. The protesters who tried to close their accounts were asked to leave by CitiBank and when they refused, they were arrested for trespassing. Some were arrested outside the bank for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest."

2. that's ok. a thread on facebook is really getting me pissed.
how the protesters are just welfare people and unemployed who have so much time to do this. and another poster said the protesters aren't patriots. people who died so they could protest are patriots. still another said that these whiny liberals should go get a job. plenty of jobs... they just think it's beneath them... someone with a phd should not think it's beneath them. Do you really think someone with a Phd could get hired at these jobs? they are overqualified. It just makes me sad. Really sad. I couldn't even respond I was so mad. Just had to walk away. Others had tried to say things I would say if I could think clearly.... Eventually, sadly, these folks are going to be hurting like the rest of us.

3. LOL. Rednecks seem to really like Facebook.
I know how you feel. I've been arguing with them too. They keep saying stuff like:

"Fox News reports that the 99% the socialist morons of OWS keep referring to is their COLOR, they are 99% WHITE. I guess that makes them racist as this is the exact same charges the lefty lame stream media accussed the tea party movement of being. 99% of americans do not agree with the actions of these trouble making nitwits."

and

"Great news on the healthcare front, apparently the whitehouse is dropping portions of the muslim's socialist healthcare bill as undoable and to exspensive and unsustainable. Young healthy Americans do not want to be forced to purchase HC. I believe this is the canary in the coal mine for this disasterous legislation that should never have been rammed through congress without knowing what the negitive ramafications would be. The muslim is totally incompetent and a coward as he moves to try and win reelection."

They're obviously a bunch of wackados.

4. Arrested for trespassing in a place where you have a right to be. Now how
special is that? Such malarkey as this would do any totalitarian state proud. :patriot:

6. Wrongful arrest. Sounds like lawsuit material to me.
I just watched the video, and the first person they arrested looks like she was just on a break from work. She did not appear to be a protester, and she kept saying "I'm a customer" who apparently picked the wrong time to be in the bank.
