I've never seen such a polite crowd.

Oh, and here's a pic thread in case you missed it:

5. I left after the permit and no one had been arrested yet.
Of course when Stacie Borello announced about it being time to leave because of the permit time, some were chanting hell no, we won't go.

6. Ah. I noticed the crowd moved further off to the side of the Capitol...
closer to Morgan Street. I guess that's when the "fun" began.

8. Yep, trespassing. Just caught it on ABC 11 (or whatever that channel is).
"Growing civil disobedience in downtown Raleigh!" LOL Then they showed the "growing civil disobedience" around the world, including nasty ol' Julian Assange addressing the protestors.

You're welcome for the pics. Evidently Elaine Marshall spoke, but I *totally* missed her. Hmpfh.

13. These situations are fluid as people get more experience
figure out their rights, get some legal back up. Tomorrow may be different.

14. Everything was organized well. There were legal observers
and volunteer pick up from jail after processing.

11. YEP!
they sure were - although our local paper is reporting 19. nobody was allowed to stay. raleigh sucks that way - but good for them and it DID make the news here.
