Cain on "Meet the Press"

Wow...what a train wreck that was.

Even asshole David Gregory was stunned when Cain insisted that his 9% sales tax was not on top of existing State sales tax.

3. Gregory is still to stupid for that job
when Cain went to "the family would need to make that decision" when asked about an abortion when the mother's life was in danger, Gregory didn't have the brains to point out that if the family chose to end the pregnancy then he was OK with that.

That isn't conservative enough for the modern Republican party and it should have been pointed out.

Cain was also wrong about his "invisible taxes" on his loaf of bread. The 9% corporate tax would still be somewhere in the price of that loaf and that would still be the same as the "invisible" taxes that already exist.

The only reason these horrible horrible candidates can gain prominence is that the media which covers them are even worse.

4. agreed and regarding the sales tax...
Edited on Sun Oct-16-11 01:54 PM by SHRED

...Gregory could have stepped in with a real life example of a current State sales tax plus 9% yet failed to do so.

5. let him talk
Actually I have come to think that it is better to let them spew their garbage now uncontested until it's too late and then smack them down. The longer they said these stupid things, the more ammunition we''ll have later(and that was not a reference to what gun owner load into their uns:o).
