Bolivia judges election tests Evo Morales support
Exit polls suggested a large number of voters deliberately spoiled their ballots in protest against President Evo Morales.

Mr Morales says the elections will make Bolivia's justice system more democratic and accountable.

But the opposition argued that the reform would politicise judges, and urged people to spoil their votes.

They called on voters to treat the election as a referendum on Mr Morales's government.
