2. Sounds like Anon, 4Chan, /b/

they have a hair up their ass with YouTube for some reason (not that they've ever needed an excuse to fuck with people).

Last time they did something like this was to take an innocuous looking, popular video (like Lady GaGa or Justin Bieber), splice in a porn clip mid-way then upload it.

5. Anon doesn't like youtube because of general censorship issues, but also for particular cases.
One big one was when they yanked some kid named Lukeywe1234's account on the grounds that he was too young. Lukeywes was a hapless kid year old who wanted 50 subscribers and anon showed up with over 15,000 subscribers. Youtube made an executive decision that this was a bad thing and banned him, citing their age requirement as a technicality. This caused a lot of rage and anon posted a bunch of porn in protest.

9. Or some 14 year old skiddie who thought he was being "rebellious"
Anon, 4Chan, et al may get the press, but in reality the overwhelming majority of the attacks carried out over the Internet are perpetrated by lone wolves or small groups of friends who are unconnected to any "major" black hat network.

A single teenager with a bit of information, a lot of patience, and a handful of tools downloaded off the various infosec sites can do a bit of damage.

8. The very definition of the word Pornography is
"Obscene writings, drawings, photographs, or the like, especially those having little or no artistic merit." I think that describes anything on the GOP's website already.

7. unless it was muppet porn
hmm, upon further reflection, that would still probably be wrong-o. But at least it would be in the spirit of the show!

10. A lot of hacking is extremely cool. It's cracking that is uniformly nasty.
"Hackers" are generally people who poke around and test the limits of software, for either benign ("woops, security risk here, folks!") or frivolous ("ha-hah, moustache on the President!") purposes. Some hackers are actually employed to hack, by developers and security firms, in order to strengthen and simplify program code and security.

"Crackers" on the other hand, are people who poke around for malicious and/or criminal purposes.

I would put this tacky little escapade in the "hacking" category as it appears to be frivolous, if tasteless, rather than destructively malicious. So yes, some hackers are uncool. But definitely not all, and some hacking is awesomely cool.

helpfully,
Bright
