More on the KC baby - I live here.
I just read that they are checking a sighting of a baby in a nearby town. Two young women with a baby went into a restaurant. They left without eating as soon as they realized they were being watched.

I just wish the baby would show up. This is awful. I just live about a mile from where all of this is going on.

1. That would be a nice ending to a horrendous story if the baby was there...
I have my doubts about the parents, but would be elated to be wrong.

2. That's how all of us feel, too.

We just keep hoping that the baby will show up somewhere. It is very possible that someone has that baby.

I keep wondering what her other children had to say. They were there, too. And I haven't heard a word about that. Unless they were just in bed asleep.

3. There was a mention in the beginning of the mother shopping for
baby food and the boxed wine, also there was a man with her, not her husband or at least that was my impression. Anything more on that? I'm with the other posters, I'm praying for a good ending to this.

8. Just heard this lead was a dead end.
Woman and baby were located and it's not the one we are all looking for.
