We're not protesting against corporations. We're not protesting against the government.
We're protesting against the fact that there's no difference between the two.

2. Well put.
Although I really feel a need to insert "big" before corporations even if it louses up the symmetry.

Most corporations are part of the 99%. They don't ever get near the big money and any little wind can knock them over.

6. I disagree
Both entities are involved in immoral practices individually.

7. Well that would make an excellent sign.
Wonder if it could be made to fit on a piece of foam board?

K&R - for truth!

8. Yeah, I wish I could be there
I'd be carrying a new sign every day. But I'm kind of stuck in Argentina, it would cost me thousands of dollars in airfare alone to go and my wife wouldn't even be allowed to.

10. And ....??
1. by 'the government' do you mean a specific government, i.e. the U.S. government, since that is where the Occupy protests started? Or do you mean government in general?

2. If the latter, then it sounds like this is all about supporting Ron Paul for president. Except funny thing, he wants to get rid of all regulations on corporations or governments. So that people form groups to maximize their exploitation of others with no restraints at all. But woo-hoo!! we will be completely 'free' !!! (except for anti-abortion laws of course. gotta save those fetii for their future lives of slavery to 'entrepreneurs').

3. If we accept your premise, that there is no difference between the two, then how do you propose to change it?

13. How the hell did you get supporting Ron Paul from that?
I've never heard Ron Paul say anything about getting money out of politics, or wanting publicly-funded elections, nor can I imagine him or anyone following him ever saying they're not protesting against the government, so I'm not sure what you're getting at.

The answer to number 3 is public funding for elections, no money in politics, and strict regulations to prevent big payouts after leaving office.

17. but WHY is there no difference between the two?
if you understood why that is an important question, you might see a path to improvement. But you are incapable of even independently asking the question, much less understanding its import. Thus the futility of your quest.....
