I went to protest my Congressman last night
He had a fundraising dinner. The man has missile envy. Never a big enough military appropriations bill for him. And he has a big D behind his name.

Also massive unemployment in his district. Hungry folks occupying the park down the street from where he dined on rubber chicken with his donors. We yelled, chanted and sang. The hotel tried to force us off the sidewalk by calling the cops. Cops said it was a public sidewalk, but we could be arrested for raising our voices if anyone complained. We raised them anyway.

I do hope the dinner guests choked on their chicken. I personally was sick to my stomach.

2. Be sure and call his office too. It's cathartic
to tell him/his staff what you think.

4. Norm Dicks
Military-Industrial Complex Democrat. He has made Washington state the third largest nuclear power on earth. We could destroy the world many times over. But we have kids going hungry at night. The elderly and the poor, workers go without bread so we can invest more in military hardware.

He has blood on his fat hands.

We did not get arrested. I sang "This Land is Your Land" because if I was going to get arrested I wanted it to be for raising my voice singing Woody Guthrie's song.
