4. After all
It's only once every 200 years the Speaker of the House presides over the impeachment of a President while the Speaker is doing the exact same thing.

3. It's going to be Bob Dole Jr.
Because whomever it is - they are nothing more than the sacrificial lamb to Obama's re-election.

They are all idiots with a ton of baggage. Anyone who has real qualifications to hold the job is waiting until 2016 when the job is wide open.

6. Here's my recycled prediction....
Consider the possibility of a brokered Republican convention. None of the candidates can break 25% after the 10th ballot. Suddenly, the Queen of Alaska, saddled up on a polar bear, makes her grand entrance into the convention on a gigantic float of teabags, guns, and crosses. Stunningly under-dressed in a USA flag print bikini, she gets to the podium and asks, "Who you're gonna nominate, my fellow Americans?" "SARAH!!!!, returns the crowd. "You betcha", she says and winks back...before turning and accepting the nomination tiara from a grateful Koch sponsor.

At least this is how I think she's fantasizing her convention comeback....

8. I predicted Obama would be President after watching his cameo on Monday Night Football ...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmWlrtpqp40

After I watched him, I rewound my TiVo and called my son in law and my daughter into the room. I told them, "This man will be your next President!" They watched and just laughed. I fear they probably figured I was getting a little senile. They forgot that I had accurately called the winner in every Presidential election back to Jimmy Carter.

At this point, I see one Republican, Herman Cain, who could possibly win the next presidential election. I would predict that he will except for the fact that the Republican party lacks originality and loves to run the next candidate in line, who is Mitt Romney. Cain also lacks media support, money and an organization on the ground. He faces a much harder uphill battle than even Obama who had to overcome Hillary's coronation. Cain's advantages are that he does have charisma, he is NOT a politician and he is likeable.

Romney has no more chance of beating Obama in the Presidential race than he does at beating Obama in a one on one basketball game. He reminds me of Bob Dole, the undertaker, who ran against Bill Clinton. Even John McCain beat Romney in the last Republican primary election. But the Republicans will probably put all their hope in Romney who is just another typical waffling politician without any magnetic charm or appeal. They will regret their decision.

I should point out that while I feel that Herman Cain could win if the Republicans have the guts to give him a chance, I do not predict that if he did he would be a good President.

I never predicted that Obama would make a good President. To me, his biggest drawback was his background in Chicago politics. However, I did say Obama had the potential to be the greatest President since Abe Lincoln and in my opinion, he still does. Rarely does a President take office in such difficult times and have the opportunity to change the direction of our nation. Obama just needs to learn how to lead and to listen to his own dreams. He needs to stop taking advice from people on economic policy who were in a large part responsible for the mess we are in. He also needs to stop giving up his role as Commander in Chief to those in Congress that owe more allegiance to the big corporations than they do to the people who elect them.

At this point, I feel Obama has done a mediocre job of leading our country through one of the roughest times we have ever faced. Experience is a great teacher and success is never easy. I personally feel he can learn from his mistakes and with his vision he can finally achieve the change he promised in his second term.
