Student Forbidden From Taking Saxophone On School Bus
RAYNHAM (CBS) – Andrew DiMarzio can wail on the tenor saxophone. He’s also practicing on an alto sax, to learn that too.

But tomorrow morning, he is forbidden from bringing either one to Raynham Middle School on his bus.

“I just want to see them let me on the bus with the instrument,” explains the 12-year-old.

Andrew’s parents go to work too early every morning, so the 6th grader has no choice but to take the bus.

6. My kid's bus has three to a seat
And these are high school kids. There is literally no room for a saxophone (I can only imagine me trying to fit my old baritone -- or, god forbid my bass sax -- on a bus packed three to a seat). Budget cutbacks, you know. According to our newest superintendent, the problem isn't the lack of money, it's the lack of privatization: cheaper for a year, more expensive for a lifetime.

10. Yeah---my High School kids refuse to take the bus
because of the 3 to a seat thing. My son is 6:1 --220 pounds.

11. Welcome to Republican America: A school bus so crowded that a musical instrument
can't fit. Next they should ban backpacks, shoebox dioramas, and textbooks. Once they do that, they can cram a few more kids in.
