That we could have been done with this months ago. Apparently he has forgotten that we are still in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Edited to include wars.

15. Yup
the one and the same. :eyes: Even after all of their bluster and bs, they never actually changed anything.

Obama can do NOTHING right in their eyes, so don't expect their criticisms to make sense or for them to ever give anything other than grudging credit for anything.

2. Obama is responsible for Gaddafi.
If Obama had gone back in time and killed Gaddafi's mother, we wouldn't even be there now.

3. If we had done that then it would have been without the UN Security Council & Arab League approval
which would have given this entire thing a very different degree of validation.

Obama did it the right way.

Let's just recognize that Republicans and Grassley would have found a way to criticize whatever Pres. Obama did - they always do.

9. Grassley and the other Pubs are just pissed it happened on Obama's watch.
And without a U.S. invasion as Bush did in Iraq.

Let's see: On Obama's watch:

No successful terrorist events on U.S. soil.
Osama bin Laden is killed.
Dictators fall in Tunisia and Egypt.
Al Quaeda crippled and marginalized.
No invasions of sovereign countries.
Obama continues to clean up after Bush invasions of two countries.
Taliban contained and weakened.
Gaddafi is killed.

On Bush's watch:

Biggest terrorist event in history on U.S. soil.
U.S. launches partial invasion of Afghanistan.
Osama bin Laden allowed to escape and not captured until 2 years after Bush left office.
Taliban also mostly allowed to escape, only to regroup after Bush pulls troops out of Afghanistan to invade Iraq..
U.S. launches full scale invasion of Iraq.
Al Quaeda expands and strengthens in aftermath of U.S. invasions.
Saddam Hussein captured after U.S. invasion of Iraq.
Taliban regroups in Afghanistan.

10. BINGO!
You nailed it! It was successful because the President handled it exactly the way that he did.

17. Grassley!
I'm from Grassley's home state and I, for the life of me, can't understand how Iowans continue to support him. Hopefully in 2016, he'll retire and we can get someone good to replace him. I just hope it isn't Steve King, who makes Bachmann seem sane.
