Do you think he’d join #OccupyWallStreet?

1. Almost for sure
He also wouldn't be celebrating anyone's death, even if everyone agreed that the person was very, very bad.

4. Hmm.
How did he feel about the death of Hitler, Mussolini, or the men tried at Nuremburg?

5. An admixture of different circumstances
I don't know that MLK had much to say about Hitler, who took his own life. I don't know about Mussolini, who was executed by a mob. And those tried at Nuremburg at least had the form of a criminal trial conducted by rules procedure, production of evidence, and so forth. Those are three very different circumstances.

Perhaps you could do some research of your own?

6. Nah.
I doubt he cried any crocodile tears over them. And even if he did get upset over their deaths, nobody's perfect.

8. Ah
Thanks for your concern. Gutting and stuffing a corpse is usually frowned upon, but we've long ago left behind the decent society, so you're probably right in the mainstream anymore.

9. "usually frowned upon"
Ah, but Gaddafi's corpse isn't the usual kind.

As for "decent." Take a look at the decent people of Libya and tell me how upset they are about it.

10. Your projection of Dr. King's beliefs and opinions are a hoot.
Funny, one of the most outlandish moves on the right has been to twist and co-opt MLK...

I was just thinking the same thing. Because here you are, supposing what MLK would think, without any real precedent.

But I'm not actually projecting my beliefs on him. I'd hope he'd be pleased with this, but if he wouldn't have been then oh well. He's got plenty of positives to make up for it.

7. Almost certainly he would.
At the end of his life MLK was turning his focus to economic justice in a big way. OWS is about nothing if not economic justice.
